Both of my PC's dial up connection keeps popping up?

  1. Well like it says all of a sudden my laptop and desktop are doing this. Every few web pages I go to it brings up my dial up connection. And asks me to connect. I have just recently ran through the removal and clean up instructions in this thread about a month ago. I am know running the zone alarm AVG anti virus and AVG spyware. Everything else seems fine this is annoying mostly but makes me wonder since it showed up on both pc's at roughly the same time. Within a day of each other. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks Dominic

Please read the Viruses/spyware/malware prelimary removal instructions, follow the instructions exactly, and post into this thread fresh HJT and AVG Antispyware logs as attachments as per this thread.

    Cheers :)

Oops, sorry, I didn't realize that you had already had your system cleaned. But it might be a good idea to post an HJT log anyway, just to make sure (if it's not too much trouble). But the problem could be caused by a lot of things too so I'm not sure exactly what it is.

    Cheers :)

I recommend you uninstall the following programmes.

    PartyGaming
    PartyCasino
    PartyPoker

This is because they can all cause adware to be placed on your system. However, the choice is yours.

Then, run HJT with no other programmes open. Click the scan button. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {C68AE9C0-0909-4DDC-B661-C1AFB9F5AE53} - (no file)

    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {0BF43445-2F28-4351-9252-17FE6E806AA0} - (no file)

    O9 - Extra button: PartyCasino.com - {B4B52284-A248-4c51-9F7C-F0A0C67FCC9D} - C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyCasino\RunCasino.exe

    O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: PartyCasino.com - {B4B52284-A248-4c51-9F7C-F0A0C67FCC9D} - C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyCasino\RunCasino.exe

    O9 - Extra button: PartyPoker.com - {B7FE5D70-9AA2-40F1-9C6B-12A255F085E1} - C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\RunApp.exe

    O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: PartyPoker.com - {B7FE5D70-9AA2-40F1-9C6B-12A255F085E1} - C:\Program Files\PartyGaming\PartyPoker\RunApp.exe

    O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing)

    O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: @xpsp3res.dll,-20001 - {e2e2dd38-d088-4134-82b7-f2ba38496583} - %windir%\Network Diagnostic\xpnetdiag.exe (file missing)

    O16 - DPF: RaptisoftGameLoader - http://www.miniclip.com/hamsterball/raptisoftgameloader.cab

Click on the fix checked button.

    Close HJT.

Locate and delete the following bold files and/or directories(if there).

    C:\Program Files\PartyGaming<Delete the entire folder.

    Reboot your system.

Other than the above, your HJT log is clean.

    Regards Howard :)

Well I removed all the party stuff and cleaned up what you said to clean up. I am guessing I have to fix/remove the two in this log with no name just a guess. And sorry about the double post I am not used to being able to edit post.

    Thanks a bunch Dominic
