I have a rather long audio file that is all one track. It is made up of a compilation of works, and I would like to have it broken up to several seperate tracks to be written on an audio cd. Does anyone know of a good program or certain way to do this?

    Try Audacity. audacity.sourceforge.com

Don't forget if you want to encode directly into MP3 using that software you need a file from the LAME MP3 program. (google for lame_enc.dll)

Nero Wave Editor is not bad. The time it takes depends on ur hardware so if u have a lot of RAM and a quick processor like an Athlon 64/X2 or the latest Core 2 Duo, it should be done quite fast.
