Broken On/Off Button-Power Cable

So my mate and I were building a new PC and as we were plugging the on\off switch into the power supply we bent the pins on the end of the cable that came from the on/off switch and went into the cable coming from the PSU. The PC still works but you sorta need to press the power button like 4-5 times for it to power up, and we're afraid it will eventually need to be replaced.

We have a few questions:
Is there a way to fix this cable?
Are replacements cheap?
Does it effect the PC after its powered on?

Anyway, thanks!
