Browser History. Where to store?

Is it worth storing Google Chrome browser history on the HDD and not the SSD? I want to keep my browser history but don't want it ending up taking multiple GB on the SSD.

I can be wrong but I don't think it works that way. I think after a while, the older history gets deleted as new is saved. Interesting thou.
