Browser Loading Problem

  1. Hi,
I am using IE7 for browsing the web and having a strange problem. Certain websites, such as yahoo are not loading at all UNLESS I set them as the default home page for internet explorer. A similiar issue is happening with google. I can always load the google page, but when I go to search for anything it never loads my results UNLESS google is set as my home page. In safe mode everything works fine. Does anyone know the problem? I'd appreciate any help as I am lost!
    Thanks!

Check the lever of your security setting. If it is set TOO high, you won't be able to access. I keep mine at Medium-Medium High. IT should not be necessary to set any site as the homepage just to access it.

Also, do you get any message when those sites won't load? That would be important in looking for a possible common cause.

I would also like to ask if this is new behavior= and if it is, what did you do before it began? Update? What? Install or Uninstall? Have you tried doing a System Restore if it's new?
