Browser Problem?

I cannot seem to load certain sites with either IE or Firefox. The load bar just stops at a certain point when loading pages like hotmail and doesn't continue even after 5 mins. Not sure if it's related, but my ISP asked me to switch from direct internet to a proxy about 2 weeks ago(when these problems started). I've since rolled back the proxy changes, no change to the problem.

Other sites like yahoo, google, etc. online games work fine. Any ideas?

Are you from the UK,do you use a router, and do you use AOL? I apologise for asking, but your location isn't listed in your profile.

Another poster has asked a similar question in the storage and networking with regards to "can routers block websites" which you may find relevant.

When were you last able to access these sites, and what changes did you make to your setup before the problem occured?
