Bsod 0X000008e While playing MMO's

For a long time now, my computer has been giving the same two Bsod error's . The 0x000008e and the 0xc000005. All "please read before posting" instructions were complete, I get the error while playing MMORPG's.

I haven't had the error for a few months, thinking i was safe, but it came back today.


Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 bf1117e4, parameter3 9928f874, parameter4 00000000.

Please help me if you can, Identify where this problem is coming from.

I suspect the 0x000008e error could be resolved by reinstalling your video card's drivers. The 0xc000005 is unfamiliar to me, though.

After some Google searches, it seems that error is describing a registry settings issue with Explorer.

Start regedit and browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RPCKDM
Right click and export it to your Desktop or where ever in order to have a backup of that file.
Right click again and delete it from your registry.

You might need to restart, but if you still get the 0xc000005 error code then double click the backup of that file you exported to re-add it to your registry and we'll try some thing else.
