Getting the BSOD on a friends laptop. It is a Toshiba Tecra running windows XP Professional. BSOD will not boot into any mode. I have tried them all and it will not boot to CD drive. I have changed the boot order to CD ROM first, but it will not boot using a boot disc.

I can't get into Safe Mode to even use the run command. BSOD just send the OS into a loop, but does not boot.

Last change was a few days ago and that was adding Symantec. Symantec did find four viruses, all of which were medium threats related to spyware.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
