Hi,

I got the BSOD and here is the error code:

BCCode : f4 BCP1 : 00000003 BCP2 : 852BCDA0 BCP3 : 852BCF14
BCP4 : 805FA160 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

Can someone help explain what the error codes mean? The dmp files are attached. I am running XP SP2.

Thanks!

Hi
Probably caused by : hardware_disk ... try the error-checking tool and defrag your hard drive...

error codes too - now what do i do?

I too have error codes, I am not sure whether its a hardware issue or just a major crash, and I am not sure if i am even posting in the right place here, I do know that my kids are making me a nervous wreck trying to fix this, and I really dont want to pay a tech if I dont have to.
My error codes are 0x00000024, 0x00190203, 0x82372828, 0xC0000102, 0x00000000. This is on a Dell Dimension 3000 desktop. I am so new to all of this I am not even sure what kind of other information I need to include here other than the basics: the computer will not boot up - all of the system scans that I have read to do come back ok - it will not log on in last known good, or safe mode - or any mode as far as that goes. I do not have the Windows XP disk, think one of my kids lent it out and never bothered to get it back. At this point it is not an issue of saving files, it is of me being the " hero" and seeing if I can get this monster up and running again -

Mac88,

All your crashes are caused by NTACCESS.SYS, and the process is always LMonitor.exe. LMonitor.exe is MSI Live Update. Uninstall whatever MSI utilities you have installed and see if the crashes stop.

Dear peterdiva

I could not uninstall LMonitor because the uninstall file had an error.

Then I deleted LMonitor and the MSI folder from the programs file and it's working now.

Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you !!!

I'm having a similar issue with my MSI Live Update 3 software. Do you know if there are any other ways to resolve it without the uninstall? I would prefer to have the program since it keeps my drivers, BIOS, and other MSI software that I use updated.
