BSOD help: 0x000000D1 (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I get that STOP error every time I insert my ethernet cable that has an active internet connection into my computer. Only in safe mode am I able to go on the internet freely without my computer getting the BSOD. I'm not that smart with computers so any explanation on what to do is greatly appreciated. I'm am also sorry if this is the wrong place to post this as I am new to this site. Thanks in advance.

It's a custom. It first started about a week ago when I got ad/malware. I think I might have deleted some stuff I needed running Ad-Aware SE Personal.

Okay, I'll see if I can can scrounge around and find an XP CD. Any other suggestions if I can't find one?
