I just built a new computer last week with the following specs:

Pentium 4 Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 GBLAN Audio Motherboard
OCZ Gold XTC 2X1GB 240PIN DIMM Dual Memory Kit
Seagate 320GB SATA2 3GB/S 7200RPM 16MB Cache HD
OCZ GameXStream 600W ATX12V 24PIN PSU
Gigabyte GeForce 8500GT 500MHZ 256MB
Windows XP Professional

So. everything was fine untill I play wc3 on b.net... randomly at times it will restart my computer and give me the BSOD. Can't see what is on it as it is too fast. This will only happen in game. Once the computer is done restarting no messages indicating what has happend shows up. So I check the system log and find this at the time of the incident. The latest being:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0xb6116bee, 0xb453e71c, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini070407-01.dmp.

Like I said, it ONLY happens with wc3 so far.. havent done much wit this new computer other than streaming videos and a little gaming...Any help would be appreciated. Minidump files are attached, only some.. as it is restricted to 100kb.

Hi!

I have the exact same problem!

My specs are:

E4300
GA-965P-DS3 rev 3.3 (not sure about bios version)
2 x 1024Mb Corsair XMS2-6400
Gainward 8600GT
An old IDE HDD
A noname PSU
XP professional SP2

Only experieced this in WC3 TFT online play so far also.

Seems it might be the motherboard, as we have same?

EDIT: Some week later, I found out it was the integrated soundcard on MB that caused the crashes (BSOD mentions RTHDAUD.exe or similar - Realtek HD Audio). Disabling sound in BIOS solved the problem, until I installed some older soundcard drivers found on the CD that came with MB. Works flawlessly now.
