Hi guys,

Been getting a few BSODs lately at random times.

The hardware of the system is good. Done tests etc. No spyware and viruses present.

I have attached a few minidumps in the zip.

Could you please tell me which program or driver is causing the BSODs?

Thanks!

Zone Alarm file vsdatant.sys is causing your crashes. Uninstall it in safe mode and reinstall the latest version.

All you crashes are caused by "vsdatant.sys." This is part of ZoneAlarm products. Upgrade to to latest version, or if you are using ZoneAlarm firewall, and it still causes problems, try Sygate or Outpost.

Hi guys!

Cheers for the replies.

I find it disturbing that the version I am using (6.1.x is the latest stable version, 6.5.x gives lot of problems) worked fine on a previous installation of xp. After the formating and install, this kept happening.

I have did a few clean installs of Zonealarm already, but I have no idea what is going on.

I've had problems with ZoneAlarm as well, which is why I use Sygate. I used to get a bsod everytime I tried to connect to the net. Give Sygate a try.

Hi altheman,

I have switched to outpost. It's good so far, but a bit hard to get used to.

Cheers :D
