BSOD on my laptop

im 16 and i have had an inspiron E1505 for about 6 years and in the past 6 months it has been givin me the blue screen of death on and off. it will do it for a week and then work like brand new then wont turn on thanks to the blue screen then one day about a month ago it worked fine untill now and its randomly doing it again. i got it up and running but it laggs every half a second or second. the mouse glitches, my music sounds all staticly, and its just a usual lag, or so i hope. i dont know any specs on it i just want the mother****er fixxed. my stepdad is convinced its not hardware and wont buy me a new one so im stuck with this piece of ****. any tips on fixing it? THANKS!!!!
