  1. Can anyone please read Mini dmp's and tell me if they reveal a problem that could be causing random bsod's, n.b. renamed extension from dmp to txt to allow upload:

    BSOD's are
    1. Page Fault in non Paged Area
    2. Bad Pool Header

but not necessarily in dmp order

    Thanks

Renaming dmp to txt doesn't work nor is it necessary normally... With XP this may be different. Go to C:\windows\minidump. Minidump files have a .dmp extension. Select all the dmp files and right-click sending them to a compressed(zipped)folder. You might have to use a third party ZIP program like 7zip:

Okay good... Looks like a memory issue. Download Memtest86 v.5.01.iso:

Burn it to a CD or DVD and boot the computer with it. Run it for at least 7 passes. No errors are allowed

Many thanks. What do you use to get these dmp in readable form?

Bluescreenview, but it only supplies clues as to what driver or what hard drive or memory issues might show up...
