BSOD very frequently appearing in my new rig

    my system is:

    Intel Pentium D 2.8ghz
    ECS 945G-M3 board
    512mb ddr2 ram
    200Gb Maxtor SATA
    Windows XP SP2

    Please help, while my system is still under warranty. thanks!

    3 of your minidumps crash with memory corruption. This is a sign of faulty ram.

    Because your system is still under warranty, I suggest you take it back to the vendor, and have it looked at under the terms of the warranty.

    You can run the memtest86+ programme to check your ram.

    You can get the programme from www.memtest.org

    Let the programme run for at least seven passes. If you don`t have a floppy drive, there is a pre-built iso version available, that you can burn to cd, and then boot from that.

    Please note. Some faulty ram can pass Memtest.

    If memtest gives you ram errors, then your ram is bad.

    Ordinarily, I would advise you to open your case and take out your ram sticks and clean the contacts etc.

    But, because you system is still under warranty, doing that may well void the warranty, so I don`t advise that you do.
