Without knowing any more information your error code 0x4E is a very strong indicator of corrupt memory. My first advice is to run memtestt on your RAM. keep in mind that this takes a long time. The rule is a minimum of 7 Passess; there are 8 individual tests per pass.

See this link: https://www.techspot.com/vb/topic62524.html

Also, I wouldn't be suprised if your issue lies within Adobe itself because their software is bloated and we've seen a number of people have issues with their products, especially Adobe Reader.

*** Get back to us with your memtest results.

thanks for the advice I'll download and try it now. I'll post what happens =)

Ok i ran the memtest and it came up with 9 errorrs on the first pass so i think its safe to say that it is the memory thats bad. Although i didn't run the test with 7 to 8 passes, getting an error on the first pass is a good indicator i should replace my ram right?

Yes, memory needs to be replaced. Try running memtest per stick to see which one(s) need(s) to go. Just remocve one stick and run. Then switch out. This way you'll know how much your need to purchase. Keep in mind that it is important you get the same kind.
