Burning A DVD/CD over a network

  1. recently my Lite-on DVD burner died :( (lol @ lite-on)
    i was wondering can i burn a dvd on my mums burner from my computer (she doesn't have enough room for the stuff lol)

    if you need more details then tell me :)

    no reason why not - except that you need to keep the data flowing across your network link so best not do anything else while the burn is in progress.

    ok thanks.
    so should i just Network the Drive and drag/drop etc?

    depending on the software in the burner, start with the file selection process in the burner software and select the files from across the network. You may have to share the folder on your machine so that your mum's machine can access it.
    This presumes that these machines are already networked and share files, etc. etc.
