When i try to burn avi files to dvd using Nero it will say 'no compatible file found', similarly Ulead dvd movie factory says 'file not accesible'. What program should i use? Or is there a file converter to make the avi readily useable for these programs. They play fine using my media players

Yhea man try the program AVI DVD Burner 2007.Find it somewhere on google <content edited out>.It takes about an hour to convert. And then just burn the file to a CD and TADA.You can play it on your regular dvd player even if you want to.Don't need the divx players.

Agree with samstoned, Nero should work. (in fact i'm doing it right now)

Download a codec pack, like K-light codec pack etc. It could be that your .AVI is in Divx/Xvid format etc.
