Burnt DVD Playing weird

Ok Im going to describe this to the best detail I can. Its late. Im tired :p

Ok so I burnt a dvd tonight.
It was an avi file movie.
I used DVD Flick to create it. On my 32 htdv lcd and my panasonic dvd player, it plays with no problems.

But when I go to play it on my projection tv it plays wrong. The sound is fine, the picture is there, but the picture moves from the top of the screen to the bottom as if it was on a reel.(if that makes any sense)

Its as if the refresh rate is different for the tv.

I played around with a million settings but cant seem to figure out.

I change the mm delay on the tv and it seems to slow down the speed that the picture moves from the top of the screen to the bottom, but I cant be to sure, think its in my head.

Anyways!
I really cant seem to figure this one out.
Even the menus on the dvd player move with the picture when its playing.

If anybody has a clue what Im talking about, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes, most of us have seen this when copying movies (well after its done)

It's the built in legal part that's doing it. The part that says you cannot copy this movie. To stop users actually copying movies like this, the manufactures have placed protection mechanisms on it, thus causing the scrolling affect on playback.

Now that's laymans !

There are a number of tools (software programs) that can stop this protection, but I'm not sure if I should discuss them. Anyway I've answered the question :)
