Yet another company interested in launching a competing music download service to compete with Apple's iTunes, according to this story at CNN, online retailer Buy.com is planning to announce the launch of the new venture next week.

The new service will be available on Windows-based PC and is expected to be aimed at users who are die-hard music fans and would promise to offer more features than just single tracks, the source said.
