Buying A New MOBO, I need your help.

    Hi everyone :wave: I am buying a new motherboard because my currunt one will not allow my cpu to go 2.4, so currently its 1.8, I was wondering if someone can find me and alright mobo for a cheap price.Im only 15 and with no money lol. :blackeye: Here is my cpu specs and memory,

    CPU
    Intell p4 2.4 ghz/512/533/1,525v
    SL6EF Phillipines
    7242a673-0619

    MEmory/ram
    512 ddr pc 2700 pc 333 ddr
    also i have 256mb ram 233 i think :confused:

    video card, goin to buy also.

    Please find me something cheap, im only 15 so no complicated stuff. Im pretty sure how to change mobo, i have done it before.

    Your mobo supports a cpu with an fsb of 533mhz.

    Are you sure the mobo jumpers JP1A1 and JP1B1 are set correctly for your cpu? I.E Are they set to 100mhz, or 133mhz? They should be set to 133mhz.

    133mhz=533mhz effective.

    Check in your mobo manual.

    yea i have checked everywhere about tthis mobo :dead: It can only work on amd , for intel mine will only work on 1.8
