Buying a sound card, PLZ HELP

  1. I have never used more than integrated audio in my life. When I went over to my friend's house and heard what a Sound Blaster Audigy sounded like, well I was blown away. I am looking for a new sound card but I have no desire to spend more than $50. I was thinking about a sound blaster live. Plz give comments or sugestions

    Howdy

    No suggestions needed.
Separate sound cards take a big load off the CPU
    and give better sound quality.
I have non-oem SB live 5.1 that you should find for the $$'s
    you want to spend....
