  1. Hi all you lovely helpful people :)

We are about to switch to NTL cable for everything including broadband, and want to go wireless and catch up with the rest of the world.

Can anyone recomend a good/cheap kit ie a decent router and adapters for 2 pcs both running on windows XP?

    Ta muchly x

Just in case you haven't yet found this info...

This Should be more than adequate for your router needs, and unless either of the PC's has a wireless card installed already, then two of these (one for each PC) wil be needed. You can of course use any wireless PCI card you choose, but these are specifically mentioned for use with the router, and are of the same brand. Such concerns don't always matter though, and are almost never critical to the operation of the service/equipment.

You can get something cheaper though, or you could get something more expensive - you get what you pay for with computers of course, as you no doubt know.

    A cheaper example...

    Router and wireless card

The important thing is to shop around really.
