Can connect to router with all deveices but no internet connection. Can connect with ethernet cable

I have a netgear n600 wireless dual band router wndr34, roommate accidentally hit the factory restore button and Im having some issues. Ive looked all over the internet for solutions that have helped others but arent helping me and Ive gone through the forums here and tried a bunch of suggestions with no luck =/ So far ive gone to http://www.routerlogin.net/start.htm and set up everything there but the passwords dont match up correctly, I found out what my password was through the settings and it changed again by me trying to set it to what I want and I misplaced the link of telling me how to find that out again. Wish I had some more information to give but this is my last resort. Really frustrated and Im going to take a break from this for a few minutes.

Factory RESET will restore the default router address and the system admin password.
Login, change the admin pwd, restart the device; This time write it down
