Can I change from a EVC connector to a VGA connector?

  1. I am wanting to install a new video card. It has a VGA and a DVI output on it. The old card has only a EVC connector on it. From there it goes to a Y cable with 2 CRT monitors (VGA connections) coming off of it.

My question is. Can I use a DVI to VGA adaptor and hook both monitors to the new video card and do away with the T cable?

    Thanks Bill

Most definitely. You can down convert form DVI to VGA, but not the other way around (inexpensively, anyway)
