Can I give buddy a copy of my WinXP CD?

My buddy has a Dell computer running WinXP Pro. He asked me to reinstall the OS however he does not have the installation CD. Would it be OK to use my own CD and use he's Product Key?

As long as the key is for the exact same version of Windows as your CD, it will work just fine.

He can use your disc: as long as he uses his existing key.

Nodsu meant any XP Pro key will work with any XP Pro CD. The same with Home and other editions.
