Usually yes you can do this without any problems (of course you'd have to set the ide as slave).
But there are some motherboards out there that will not allow you to set a SATA as the primary if you are using ide drive controllers at the same time. I just did a quick search for your motherboard and nothing comes up so I can't confirm that you will have no problems.
Also, assuming you are going to install windows in the SATA, you may need to remove the ide drives first, then install. After the installation add the IDE drives. Windows tends to pick up the IDE drives first when installing. There are other work-arounds, but that's what I typically do.
