Can not connect my wireless printer

I have brothers 490 printer/scanner/fax which was working ok but today I had some problem with my wireless router so the tech support told me to re set my router. This cause my whole wireless net work down. I was able to connect my laptop, cell phone but I am having problem connecting brothers printer. Can any one give me the step by step instruction to connect printer to my wireless network

Navigate to something that says "show connected devices" and check out what IP is associated with the printer. Highlight it and copy it. Then somewhere else are settings (it may be different location depending on the router) that will set your associate the MAC address of the printer (also found on the connected devices page) to whatever IP you want for it. Try that's the best I can explain it without seeing for myself.

How do I get ip addresss of printer?
