Can not copy data from old SATA to a new system SATA

    I boot XP SP1 from SATA1 (ST3160827AS-RK 160GB Seagate). I connected another sata drive (6Y160MO 160GB Maxtor ) from my old PC to SATA2. SATA controller resides on VIA chip on mobo ASUS A8V-E Deluxe. I want to copy data from the old drive (SATA2 - partitioned into c:,d:,e: on an old XP system with XP installed on c:) to the new one (SATA1). BIOS and Device Manager see both drives. My Computer and Disk Manager do not see the cecond drive. Is there a way to access the second disk ?
