Can not download anything from explorer Help

Hello,
I need help, whenever I download anything to my computer from internet explorer it disappers.
I have been trying to install Java so that I can play games I go to the site click run and then it goes through the procedure but no set up screen shows up. The same is true if I try to download firefox in either save to or run form it disappears and never sets up.

Please help I need to download not only java but adobe flash for my daughters school work and i can not do any. My computer is full of junk too that I have no clue what I can and can't get rid of

Best way to start is to run the 8 steps in the malware cleaning here:

When through, attach the three logs here and we will review them.
The programs will removed malware and we can see if any other entries need to be removed
