  1. I have a copy of my users "Documents and Settings" folder and I just reinstalled Windows XP SP2. I have installed the Recovery Console and enable all the SET options but I cannot for the love of GOD copy a directory I can only copy individual files. I have been using COPY command. Is their a way to copy directories over in Recovery Console?

Hum.. Why are you using the Recovery Console if you already have a working Windows XP SP2 installation?

I'm using Recovery Console to copy over a backup copy of "Documents and Settings" because some of the files that need to be copied over are open. With Recovery Console you don't have this kind of problem.

The other method would be to create a second user account and copy files over that way; then you will still have a problem with some files because they are locked.

This is why I am using Recovery Console to do this.
