heres the windows error message: Windows cannot access the specified device, file or path. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. ok so heres the deal I downloaded lame.(whatever) . for audacity from the audacity website and now whenever I try to download anything when I click on it it doesnt load and come up with that message at the start?
I'm not supposed to install stuff on here anyway cos its my brothers pc so I cant install and virus/spyware programs without him knowing and getting angry at me. Any quick way of fixing it? Or anybody else who's had this problem?

amd 2400+
seagate 40gb hard drive
512mb ram
the computer's running pc cillin 2002 but for some dumb reason cant update it. and windows firewall ( I doubt if thats working properly either)
