Can this processor work with my mobo?

    I have a pcchips p21g and i wanna get a pentium d 930 3.0 ghz dual core for it.. socket 775.. will they match and work together?

    No, Here they say that it's only compatible for P4s and Celeron Ds.

    It should work with any of the P4 Prescotts, though. What processor do yiu currently have?

    i have a celeron d. Is there more then socket types for capability? the mobo supports 800 mhz fsb just like the prossesor.

    Not sure I understand your question....
    All of the newer prescotts use the LGA775 socket, but the Pentiums D's use a different style of LGA775 socket. As far as I know they are not interchangeable.
