    Alternatively, you can attempt to create the biggest footprint possible, thus entering into the equation plausible deniability:

    "I just said/clicked/bookmarked/favorited/liked/uploaded/downloaded that because I knew it would make waves."*

    *This argument will not work in a court of law. Use at your own risk.
