Cannot access and format USB flash drive

    When I try to access (doubleclick in My Computer) the USB drive's contents a dialog box appears, saying "The disk in Drive H is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?" with a yes and no button. When I choose yes, it says "The disk in Drive H cannot be formatted". I have tried accessing the drive in another different computer (with Windows XP SP1) and the same thing happens.

    I use WinXP SP1, the drive is a JetFlash 256mb USB 2.0 Flash drive.
