Cannot open Task Manager

cant open task manager

i have the same problem my task manager wont open when i press ctrl alt delete. so i went to start, and search. I then typed in " taskmgr.exe " and clicked search. it came up with a few taskmgr.exe files so i clicked on each one to see wich one would work. on the one that opened the task manager, i right clicked on it and click Send To , Desktop Create Shortcut. Now all i have to do is click the shortcut on my desktop to open the taskmanager.

I am glad you found a way to get Tskmgr working , but you should still follow Howard's instructions. You may have been Hijaked.

havent you seen those types of movies?? passenger 57 etc....

Hijacked: loosing control of a device/machine etc...

(in pc terms) when a software gets installed/downloaded to your pc, you loose the ability to control some of your programs, like taskmanager, and hence you dont have 'total' control over your pc...

run howard's advice to get rid of any warez or virii...
