cannot reinstall windows after format

OK heres the skinny.
I have been tryen to format my computer (xP)
After a while I tried the 95 boot disk
and deleted my only partion.
Its saying O/S not found.
And it wont boot from disk.
I have tried!
Please help thanks!

why you trying to use a Windows 95 boot disk

What you need to do it go into the system BIOS and make sure that your CDROM drive is set as your boot drive. Put in the New Windows XP CD, and start up your computer. As it's starting it will then say something along the lines of "Boot from CD? press any key" press a key and the Windows XP install will start up. Once you get to the formatting portion just erase all the partitions, and then make a new one and format it with NTFS. It will walk you thought it all just read the screen.
