cant delete "protected files" on SD card XP home

  1. Alright I've been surfing for three hours now and can't find a sloution to my problem. I copied music files to a Secure Digital card and now can't remove them. I get the "the disk is write-protected remove the write protection or use another disk" message

    Ugh! this makes transferring music to my mp3 player a collosal pain in my ****.

    I have Windows XP home edition service pack2 installed.

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

    O.K. I have to tell you I now realize I'm a *****, the SD card lock was on. Didn't even know it had one and couldn't see it as I'm an old guy.

    Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks for those that took the time to read my posting and for the fella that replied
