Can't find the video cable I need

I am trying to help my grandparents convert their old VHS tapes to DVD. I ordered a converter with the software, the inputs are RCA and 4 pin S-Video. The VHS/DVD player they have uses RGB component. I ordered a component to S-video cable but turned out to be a 7 pin s video. I cannot for the life of me find a component to 4 pin s video. Does such a thing exist or do I need to go a different route? If none of this works I will just get an RCA cable to connect the player to the converter straight up. If any one can help me, Id really appreciate it.

I can't tell you the answer but I found out a long time ago that S-Video is a very problematic way of connecting things up. I tried a few adapters without success and then gave up. Just about any other way will be more straightforward. VHS copied to DVD is not great either but if the tapes hold precious memories it'll be worth it.

The easiest way is a VHS DVD combo unit but it will not copy films with copy protection (Macrovision).
