Please give us the exact process you attempted, and the exact error message that was given.

Where did you get the instruction to press <F8> to enable VGA?

My comp came with an nvidia 8500gt card tried connecting my monitor and i turn on my tower screen stays blank. But when i connected it with the other card that goes with the motherboard mayb it works. IT says xfx dosent read vga (error stated). So im guessing its a registry error. So tried using ccleaner no fix. tried pressing f8 for other option no luck. Ive search about it ppl said to press f8 and go enable vga mode but i dont have that option for some reason. Tried installing the vga driver on device manager but it gave me somthing with code 10. so any ideas whats wrong?
