I can't logon to windows xp.when I logged in it shows logging of and goes back to the password screen .I installed an antivirus .it after installing and restarting I cant login.how can I log on?
Some solutions require you to use another networked XP machine to make changes to the problem machine's registry. It looks like damage from a virus may be the problem. If you can boot into safe mode you will have other options but that's not usual. See if you can find the original installation CD your PC shipped with because that would allow you to do a repair of XP keeping all your programs and files intact. I did that once but it took a very long time to get back to how things were.
