Inactive Can't Run Malwarebytes

I have run mbam and restarted the computer and then downloaded malwarebytes. It starts to run and then I get "Not Responding". This always happens when I try to run malwarebytes. I even ran CC Cleaner before mbam and it didn't help, This has happened with malwarebytes for years when I have tried to run it. Why doesn't it run and is there anything I can do? Thanks,

Please, observe following rules:

1. Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
2. Restart your computer (very important).
3. Download and run this utility.
4. It will ask to restart your computer (please allow it to).
5. After the computer restarts, install the latest version from here.

I took all the steps you you outlined. When I ran the scan it stopped (like it always does) and said NOT RESPONDING. This always happens. These are the same steps Big Fish Customer Service had me take and it just won't run. I will be away for the weekend but will be home late Sunday night. Thank you and I look forward to the next step.

Skip MBAM scan.
