Can't seem to get my Samsung TV connected with my Computer

Hey everyone,
I've been trying for a couple of hours to get my pc to work with my tv so I can use the TV as a second monitor, I'm not sure what I can try beside changing HDMI cables which I've already tried 4 different ones of.

I'm using a MSI Nvidia GTX 970 Graphics Card if that would be needed to know.


I'm really In need of help as I am out of ideas myself.

You know it's not the cable so if the TV and PC are working OK focus on the HDMI port on the TV. My Samsung remote has an input button and through that you can use the directional buttons to switch between the various sockets. If no joy, plug the cable into another HDMI port and try again. Other than that it might be that the resolution for the graphics card is not within the range of the TV. You'd have to hook the PC up to a monitor to change it. I had that situation once where as soon as Windows booted up the screen went black.
