Cant turn on remote desktop

    hey guys,

    on my laptop, it's got xp home, but when i installed SP2 it removed the "Home aspect and turned it into "Pro". my question is, you know when you got "system" and go to the "remote" tab, and it says turn on remote desktop, well mine dosent not have that there for i cant turn it on, i can turn "remote assistance" on but not "remote desktop" any body got any ideas??? thanks in advance.

    You can type in mstsc.exe from start>run to open the remote desktop connection.
    Is this what you need?

    CW - that will just give you a way to remotely access another machine - I think Milhouse is saying he can't turn on the Allow users to connect remotely option in Remote Desktop. As far as I've always known (and one good reason not to use XP Home) this is a feature included only in Pro. I'm not sure how your patch could convert you from one to another and since your post isn't grammatically correct I'm not even sure what your current situation is.
