Card reader showing mutiple drives

Is there a way to get it to not show multiple drives when there's no cards inserted? Meaning showing the drive in explorer only when something is inserted.

I don't think you can do this. It's kind of like removing the DVD drive when no DVD is inserted. Is it necessary?

Oh ok, that was a very good analogy.. I feel kind of silly now. Hahaha.
