What are the symptons, my thumb like twitches sometimes when on the computer, my mouse hand.

I`m defnitely not a doctor, but from what I`ve read, twitching doesn`t seem to be a symptom of Carpal Tunnel syndrome.

Maybe it`s more of a repetitive strain type injury?

Do a Google search for Carpal Tunnel symptoms and see for yourself.

At the end of the day, I recommend you seek medical advice.

    Regards Howard :)

I think howard is right, he usually is. i believe carpal tunnel wriste symptoms are numbness and pain, often through the night too.
bound to be someone one here has it!!

    Hi tomrca.

I sent you an email, but it`s probably gone to your spam folder lol.

Basically, I can`t send you anymore pm`s due to the fact you`ve exceeded the amount of stored pm`s you can have. The only way you can receive new pm`s is if you delete some of your stored pm`s.

I know this is off topic, but it`s one way of getting the message to you lol.

    Regards Howard :)

    my assumption:
maybe it's time to take a long break from that computer of your's.
Go to bed, and spend a day outside(if not in an office working), it might help.

Time off the pc is a good idea, but the solution seems to be in keeping the forearms and wrists inline, not bent at the wrist as most are taught. Can you keep your arms flat on the desk, wrists basicaly inline, as you type or move the mouse? That should reduce any tendancy towards cts.

You play too much Counterstrike and/or FPS games.. you've developed a reflex shot (otherwise known as "the twitch") and thats why you twitch :D

    hehe..
