  1. what exactly is the difference between something like 2-2-2-5, 2-2-2-8, 2-3-2-5, and 2-3-3-6

    i am going to get something thats cas 2 but what are all the other numbers for?

    cas stands for column access strobe. the lower the number, the faster your ram will be. generally speaking, the lower your timing vaules are, the better the ram's performance.
