Cd drive

my cd drive plays music but says "not ready" when i try to view photos, etc ... any suggestions ?

Need a little more infor. What OS are you running and what make and model of Cd drive. All i can tell you whit out know that is, check your connections, make sure disk is good condition, and clean for dust.

What type of CDs are you trying to put in, and how old is the CD drive? If they are CD-Rs , very old CD drives might not be able to read off them. Secondly are you sure the picture files are legit?
