cd problem

    I am using a Maxtor 300gb via firewire hard drive to store audio files that i am editing with Sonic Sound Forge 4.1. The problem i am having is that when i burn the audio onto a cd, it does not have a very good quality. I am getting this digital sounding noise surrounding the audio. I use Easy CD Creator for the burning and have tried to burn at a slower speed. Nothing seems to be helping

    are you sure it isnt a problem with the files on your hard drive? what bitrate did you record them at?

    The bitrate i was using was 48,000 but when i switched it to 44,100 it fixed my problem. Thanks
