CD Read Only Error

Hey guys, I am trying to use a disc for class, but there are some problems. It is from a textbook and it opens in Microsoft Access. When i try to open it says the database file's read only attribute may be set, then it says to clear the attribute, but i still get an error. thanks for your time, please post answers!
